Big Sky RC Meeting Minutes

President Dan Woods brought the meeting to order at 7:06 PM at the Pitstop with 8 members in attendance.
Secretary Don Gilles read December’s meeting minutes and they were accepted as read.
Treasurer Darrell Anderson read the Treasurer’s report and it was accepted as read.
Old business:
Dan Woods gave a synopsis of the Christmas party results.
New business:
None.
** Three items of special interest **
– There will NOT be a meeting in Feb. Don Woods made a motion to cancel the February meeting as it has next to no participation from club members. Motion Passed. Last year two people showed up. Two.
– Jerry Knight is offering to sell one of his Husqvarna mowers to the club for what it cost him to obtain/repair the mower which is $650. This mower is nearly identical to the red Sears mower and would replace the other old 30yr mower which just needs to go away. Yes Jason, old people need nice mowers. No decision was made and this will be an item for discussion in March.
– Max Hinrichs from Havre is selling one of his EDFs. It’s a very nice Freewing Avanti S V1 80mm EDF Jet in new condition for $250. Max did install a 3d printed nose gear support. This plane is PNP and will require a 6 channel Rx minimum. It also requires a 6S 5000mah battery. Max has the wing fences for this plane if those are desired. You can contact Max at 406-262-3331.

Club meetings are the first Tuesday night of the month at the Pitstop, 7pm.
Club lunch is every Friday, noon at Hardees.
Wednesday night is our designated “get-together” night for club flying.
