Big Sky RC Meeting Minutes

Vice President John Sandy brought the meeting to order at 7:05 PM at the Pitstop with 11 members and 3 guests in attendance.
Our guests were new club prospects who wanted to stop by and chat. They were Max Kern & Mitchell and Karen McCauley.
Secretary Don Gilles read June’s meeting minutes and they were accepted as read.
Treasurer Darrell Anderson read the Treasurer’s report and it was accepted as read.
Old business:
John Sandy opened the meeting with an update on the outhouse build project. The vault is in, the roof & walls are up and tinned and the vault is watered and treated. We just need to get the doors mounted and it’s pretty much complete. The following members volunteered their time: Dan, Don & Chuck Woods, John Sandy, Darrell Anderson, Dave Grosse & Don Gilles.
Don Gilles let everyone know we did purchase a Predator 5000 generator per the club motion. It’ll be out at all club events to be used as needed.
New business:
John Sandy briefed everyone on the Helena Float-Fly. A few BSRC members went down for the event and had a great time.
John Sandy continued with a reminder of our 12 July Club Open House. We’ll be having burgers / soda / chips for $5 – $6 depending on what you order.
Thanks to all attendees, the meeting was adjourned at 7:36 pm.

Club meetings are the first Tuesday night of the month at the Pitstop, 7pm.
Club lunch is every Friday, noon at Hardees.
Wednesday night is our designated “get-together” night for club flying.
